Each Spring, Equest hosts the Area Special Olympics Horse Show at Equest. Volunteers for this opportunity will fill a variety of roles, including (but not limited to):
- assist with competitor and volunteer check-in,
- assist with visitor parking,
- groom and tack horses for the competitors,
- assist competitors as needed,
- help with event set-up,
- act as gate attendants and ring stewards,
- help present awards,
- help with concessions,
- help with event clean up
- act as a "floater" willing to fill a role as needed during the event.
Three shift options are available:
- 9:00am to approximately 3:00pm (we would love to have your help all day!)
- 9:30am to 12:30pm
- 12:00pm to approximately 3:00pm
